The Twins Will Be Here Soon

"What are little boys made of?
Snips and snails, and puppy dogs tails
That's what little boys are made of!"

We are so blessed to have two new additions to our family. Although, still in progress, our daughter and her husband are going to have TWIN boys. Their move to NC has been on-going and with all the renovating of the house these babies are adding so much fun to designing their nursery. Although, not complete here's a little preview of things to come. Our daughter wanted their room to be happy and feel inviting. I think she's done a pretty darn good job accomplishing this.  We are two Happy Grandparents!!!   CeCe and Poppi!

She used a beautiful tree vinyl tree purchased
at Babies R Us to highlight the theme. The flower
pud and snails she purchased I believe at Michaels
or Hobby Lobby.
Growing up and in college there were lots of stuff bears and animals,
she saved them for her children. As you can see she has them lovingly
surrounding the nursery. The Jenny Lind beds and dressing table she
has always loved. They are perfect for two little boys who I am sure
will climb out of them pretty quickly. The pokey dot area rug was
purchased at Lowes. Once the babies begin to crawl she will add
a much larger rug for them to move around. The walls are a soft green
paint from Lowes. The drapery, wall sconces and canopy are from Ikea.
The beautiful red cabinet was a gift from her dear friend and sorority sister.
It now houses items from her childhood to share with the boys.
The little cradle is a gift from her Grandmother who is smiling from heaven.
She chose to a small white ceiling with a light fixture to give more light to the
nursery. And who can resist the beauty of hard wood floors!
